Covid-19: We are committed to protecting Umu Aro, Mazi Jideofor assures

Arochukwu Local Government council Boss,  Mazi Emmanuel Jideofor Kanu has assured the people of Arochukwu that no stone would be left unturned in protecting them against covid-19 Pandemic.

Mazi Kanu stated this on Friday, May 15 2020, when he received members of the mobile court made up of Magistrate and Lawyers from the State Ministry of Justice.

 The Magistrate who spoke to members of the community on behalf of his team, mentioned that the court was not a criminal court but was set up to ensure total compliance to directives by the state government on compulsory social distancing and wearing of face masks, while subjecting offenders to fines and community service.

Mazi Kanu further commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu's efforts at combatting the dreadful Covid-19 and for making sure that the  grassroots are adequately sensitized. 

He urged Umu Aro to comply with Government’s safety measures and stay safe for their own good and for the good of the council.
