FG REDUCES PETROL PRICE TO N87

The federal government has announced the immediate reduction in pump price of petrol from N97 to N87 with immediate effect.
The announcement was made by the nation’s Minister of Petroleum Affairs, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, at the presidential villa in Abuja on Sunday, at a press conference with stakeholders in the ministry and pressmen.
The minister cited the drop in oil prices as the reason behind the reduction in pump price and called on oil companies and filling stations to adhere to the new price regime which is with immediate effect.
