Covid-19: Arochukwu LG Boss, Mazi Kanu monitors compliance at council borders

Following the directive of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to Transition Committee Chairmen of Local Government Areas in Abia, to ensure all state borders within their LGA remains closed, Arochukwu TC Chairman Mazi Emmanuel Kanu has stationed security operatives across boundaries within the LGA.
While speaking to the security agencies manning the borders today, Mazi Kanu enjoined them to maintain high level of professionalism in their conduct and ensure that all safety measures are adhered to. He also commended them for being committed to securing the border towns since the declaration of a lock down by the Governor.
Mazi Kanu further re-assured the people of Arochukwu LGA of safety, urging them to follow and apply all safety guidelines approved by the state government.
Some of the borders visited include; Nkana road(which links to Akwa Ibom state), Amukwa village, Amuvi village etc.
