The Alex Otti political camp and All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) family in Abia State has experienced another major shock as one of its chieftains and the 2015 Director-General of Alex Otti Campaign Organisation in Abia south, Hon Ndubuisi Enyioko on Thursday, dumped the party for the People Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking during a PDP meeting Asa in Ukwa west LGA, where Enyioko and others were received into the PDP family, he pledged his loyalty and support for Governor Ikpeazu’s re-election in 2019.

“My joining PDP is because I hate maltreatment. I will work to ensure the victory of this party. Together we are going to make the party stronger and formidable’’ he said.

Enyioko who was accompanied to the venue with his supporters, described APGA as a failed party which has no bearing. He promised to work to ensure that PDP wins in Ukwa west come 2019. Also, Chief Sylvanus Nwaji, a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) was among the decampees that returned to PDP.

In his remarks, the leader of the PDP in Ukwa West and the chairman of ASOPADEC, Chief Sam Nwogu, who welcomed them to party said that PDP is the only party in the area. He said that the return of Nwaji and Enyioke will fortify the party in the area.
