Governor Ikpeazu is constructing high quality roads with little resources

The achievement of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, in his 1st 365 days in office, cannot be overemphasized.
The last News report i listened to gave over 30 roads, already completed, within the period under review. Also Over 30 roads are at various stages of work.
These roads, from my personal observations are of high standards.
We are all aware of the dwindling revenue receipts, from the center and from within the state. This situation, we know, are as results from activities of the Niger Delta Militants on Oilfield installations and Pipelines, and low economic activity within the state.
However, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has been able to optimally manage the lean cash in - flow available to him in a rare transparent manner.
On the Bailout fund he got, I want to say that he happens to be the only governor(to the best of my knowledge) who invited the Labour Union for their input on how the fund was expended. This action explained some good level of transparency in his leadership.
Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu is not only awarding contracts for projects but he is always on the move to make on-the - spot assessment of work done. This explains his high level of commitment to make Abia State a place of envy to others.
Also, various anti-social behavior agencies have been created to instill discipline in the society within this period.
Not too long ago Dr. Ikpeazu embarked on a foreign tour specifically for the improvement of the economic activities and well being of Abia State. He was able to meet some captains of industries in Turkey and Canada to mention a few, where he concluded arrangements on transfer and acquisitions of some technology for our shoes and garment industries.
We are all aware of the security challenges confronting the state. The governor is already carrying out proactive actions in this regard. This is exhibited in the procurement of vehicles to improve the police anti-crime operations. Agency to check Cattle rearers' activities, I believe is also on the way.
Dr. Ikpeazu is also close to the people. He runs an open door government, for all to see his activities.
Above all, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu puts God first in all of his actions, acknowledging the Almighty as the giver of power and wisdom. That is an exhibition of high level of humility; for however respects God will surely respect man.
In all, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, our amiable and hard working governor, has done really well, above this level of expectations, within a very short period. God bless him.
