The Chief Economic Adviser to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and the MD/CEO Nextzon business services Limited, Sir Mac Atasie has stated that it takes an audacious vision amongst several other success factors to lift Nigeria from poverty.
Atasie, while speaking to selected Media practitioners in Umuahia over the weekend, on a topic he tagged ''Innovation and Action to lift Nigeria from Poverty," explained that Innovation and growth results from a strenuous process of visioning and creativity. He added that inspiration is what drives innovation.
He went on to list Audacious vision, Mobilisation of people and funds, Strategic advantage leverage and Disciplined execution as key success factors to creating a society that works for all.
He further revealed that his innovation alongside his team members, resulted in the generation of over 800million last year from tricycle daily tax in Abia State.
Atasie commended Governor Ikpeazu for being an innovative leader and for driving and supporting innovative solutions to tackling the problems of Internally Generated Revenue in the state.
Highlight of the event includes a question and answer session. Members of Abia Online Media practitioners, a couple of news reporters from broadcast stations were in attendance
