The Abia state deputy governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for conducting the best election for Aba North and South Federal Constituency, which saw the victory of Chief Chimaobi Ebisike.
Sir Oko Chukwu who was reacting to the outcome of the by election while interacting with newsmen in Umuahia, Abia state made it clear that elections are meant to be won and lost, hence the need for the losers to rally round and support the winner, Chief Ebisike of the PDP.
He attributed the large margin polled by Chief Ebisike to the indelible developmental strides of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in Aba and Abia in general.
His words, "Those who lost out in the byelection should go back and support Chief Ebisike to do his best at the green chamber. And the losers should not hesitate to join the PDP if they want to win elections in the subsequent election years".
He encouraged Ebisike to represent his constituency well and attract laudable projects to the state.
