Security workshop: ‘Be vigilant at all times’, Ohafia LG chairman tells community members

The Executive Chairman of Ohafia Local Government, Dr. Okorafor Ukiwe has charged Ohafia people to remain awake over security challenges in the country which Abia is not exempted.
Ukiwe gave this charge yesterday, Monday 1st March 2021 during a one day Security Sensitization Workshop held at the Council Chapel by Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu who was ably represented by his Chief of Staff, Dr. ACB Agbazuere.
Ukiwe appreciated the Governor for taking up the initiative of sensitizing Abians on how to prevent issues of insecurity and to tackle them whenever they arise.
He went further to laud the effort and synergy of key actors in the security sector which has kept the state as the most peaceful and secured state in the Federation.
In his words, Agbazuere said that "in ensuring that there is a tranquil and serene environment, everyone has a role to play".
He therefore requested the cooperation of all stakeholders in tackling the various security challenges facing the country as security of lives and properties will continue to receive priority attention in the state.
The Deputy Chairman, Hon. Samuel Kalu, Special Advicer to the Governor on Media, Mr. Ugochukwu Emezue, Secretary to the Local Government, Lady Elizabeth Nkaku Anyaogu, Ndi Eze including HRH. Eze Igwe Ojike (MON), Ohafia LG Legislative Council, Women and youth leaders and top government functionaries were present at the workshop.
