Businessday Award: Barr. Chris Ezem lauds Governor Ikpeazu's notable footprint

The Secretary to Abia State Government, Barr.Chris Ezem, has extolled the Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu,for bagging the award of the Best Governor on Security Matters 2020 by the Business - Day Newspaper,recently.
Barr.Ezem made this public in a statement he rolled out from his office in Umuahia
The Secretary to Abia State Government lauded novel and notable security footprints Governor Ikpeazu has put in place to secure lives and properties in the state.
Explaining further, The SSG noted that routinely security vehicles are others logistics and made available to various security agencies in the state, latest donation was done in December, when inspector General of police visited the state
He explained that Governor Ikpeazu took proactive step to ensure that Abia remains one of the few states in the country that wasted no time to pass law against open grazing.
Barr Ezem also said the Governor has taken issue of security to another level by creating the Ministry of Homeland Security and The state has recruited and trained over 400 Homeland security watch that is deployed across the 17 LGAs in the state.
He restated that Governor Ikpeazu has taken these innovative and proactive steps because of his believe that security is key to development
Barr Ezem used the platform to appreciate the Business Day Newspaper for bestowing honour to whom it is due.
The Secretary to Abia State Government seized the opportunity to task Ndi-Abia to ensure always that peace and security prevail in every nook and cranny of the state.
