Ohafia Local government chairman, Dr. Okorafor Ukiwe has described the wife of Abia state Governor, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu as an unusual charismatic leader of women with generous milk of human kindness.
He made this remark when receiving the leadership and members of National Council for Women Societies (NCWS), Ohafia chapter who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
The Chairman stated that numerous selfless projects of Deaconess Ikpeazu in assisting widows and the girl-child is in sync with the objectives of NCWS as an umbrella organisation for all women.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the delegation, Hon. Mrs. Tessy Odum congratulated Dr. Ukiwe on his election victory and solicited his support for the organisation in their various projects.
State treasurer of NCWS, Hon. Mrs. Grace Agbara, the Secretary to the Local Government, Lady Elizabeth Nkaku Anya Okoro and other officers of the women organization were present at the meeting
