Abia Govt re-launches daily Covid-19 update Radio Programme

The Inter-Ministerial Committee on Covid-19 in response to the second wave of coronavirus and flagrant abuse of the preventive guidelines is re-launching the daily Covid-19 programme on Radio Stations, according to a statement released by the state Commissioner For Infornation, Chief John Okiyi Kalu.

The popular program which highlights daily updates on the virus with authentic global and local statistics, trends and importantly, efforts by the Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu's administration to prevent the spread of the virus, control and manage patients in Abia State is expected to recommence on Monday 28th December 2020.

The 30 minutes interactive program which emantes from FLO 94.9FM Umuahia would be simulcast on BCA, BUZZ FM, VISION AFRICA RADIO, REAL FM AND FAMILY LOVE FM every week day by 11am.

Abia State Covid-19 update also features Interviews with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, front line health workers, members of the Inter-Ministerial Committee and other relevant global actors.

The state commasioner for health, Dr Joe Osuji will be the special guest on Monday, 28th December 2020.
