Covid-19: Abia govt set to share more palliative items to LGAs, Churches

In furtherance of the efforts of Abia State Government to ameliorate the impact of lockdown measures instituted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in our state, we wish to invite Transition Council Chairmen of the 17 Local Government Areas to collect palliative materials on behalf of their respective communities as follows:

1. Date: Friday, 19th June, 2020

Time: 10am

Venue: Food Bank, Office of Wife of the Governor, Government House, Umuahia

i. Arochukwu
ii. Ohafia
iii. Umuahia North
iv. Isiala Ngwa South
v. Aba North
vi. Osisioma Ngwa
vii. Obingwa

2. Date: Monday, 22nd June, 2020

Time: 10am

Venue: Food Bank, Office of Wife of the Governor, Government House, Umuahia

i. Isuikwuato
ii. Bende
iii. Umuahia South
iv. Isiala Ngwa North
v. Aba South
vi. Ukwa West
vii. Ukwa East
viii. Ugwunagbo
ix. Umunneochi
x. Ikwuano

In addition, the following Churches are invited to collect palliative materials for distribution to vulnerable members of their respective congregations as follows:
