Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, ordered the arrest of 14 men who hid inside trailers conveying cows from the North into the state, on Thursday night, May 7.

The men hid inside the trailers so as to enter the state despite ban on Interstate travel. They were intercepted by security agents stationed at the state borders.

Governor Wike has summarily declared that the 14 people are to be tested first for Coronavirus and then charged to court while the cows and trailer would be auctioned.
