Gov. Ikpeazu set to distribute Covid-19 palliatives to non-indigenes in Abia

The Governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has called on the Chairmen/Presidents of state associations in Abia State to come to the food bank of the inter ministerial committee on COVID-19 located at the Office of Wife of the Governor, Government House, Umuahia, to collect palliative items for the needy and vulnerable members of their communities.

 


This was contained in a press statement released on Thursday by the Honorable Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu.

 

The statement listed the following associations:


1. Ebonyi Peoples' Assembly

2. Anambra State Town Unions Association

3. Association of Imo Town Unions

3. Enugu State Consultative Forum

5. Akwa Ibom Indigenous Association

Time: 10.30am prompt

Each association's Chairman/President is expected to come in the company of the Secretary and any other member of the executive body.
