Abia CP visits family of late Arunsi in Ohafia

Commissioner of Police in Abia State, Mr Ene Okon was on Monday, April 20th joined by other well meaning sympathizers from Abia State to console the family of late Mr Friday Ifeanyi Arunsi who was shot dead by a police officer attached to Ohafia Area Command in the early hours of Saturday, April 18 in Ebem Ohafia.
The CP also visited the injured persons who are currently receiving treatment at Mben Hospital, Ebem.
The visit took him to the residence of the DPO and Police Barracks to know the extent of damage and destructions of properties by angry youths.
He assured the victims of his office undaunted strive to provide adequate measures in checkmating excesses of some reckless police officers in the State. He emphasised further about his office resolve to bring sanity to the police force as well as making sure that the perpetrator of the dastardly act faces the wrath of the law.
The Police boss was conducted round by the T.C Chairman of Ohafia LGA- Hon Fred Eke Idika, the Area Commander and DPO.
Also on the entourage were, Chief Kingsley Eke Imaga, Rev Dr Onyema Agbai, Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba, Kalu Agwu Kalu, Mayor Prince Kalu Idika Kalu among others.
