38th Matriculation Ceremony of Abia State University holds tomorrow, Feb 18

Tomorrow, Tuesday, 18th February, 2020 all roads will lead to Abia State University, Uturu for the 38th  Matriculation of the Centre of Excellence and Service. Venue is the University Matriculation Arena and time is 11.00am. All Guests, Parents, Guardians and well wishers are expected to be seated before 10.30am before the arrival of the Vice-Chancellor's procession.


Those expected to Matriculate include: 

All First year Regular Undergraduate students.

All first year students of the Institute for Continuing Education (CEC).

All Postgraduate students who are not gradautes of Abia State University.


To be qualified to participate in the Matriculation exercise, it is expected that all concerned should have completed all registration formalities, including payment of appropriate school fees, before Thursday, 13th February, 2020 for their names to be included in the Matriculation Brochure.


The Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor E. Uche Ikonne, on behalf of the University Senate therefore invites Parents, Guardians and the public for the Ceremony.


It will be stating the obvious to note that Abia State University is now the destination for all prospective and progressive students. With the increase in admission quota by JAMB, full accreditation of Academic Programmes, provision of Municipal Services, uninterrupted academic activities, where Students now graduate as at when due , adequate security, coupled with tested and consummate Academics as Lecturers, excellence is assured.


We commend the Apostle of Our Story Must Change for truly changing the story of ABSU to an enviable Citadel of learning.
