JUST IN: Abia Assembly pass Donor Agency Trust fund Bill into Law

The Abia State House of Assembly during Plenary today the 10th Day of February 2020 Passed into First Reading H.A.B 16: The Abia State Agency For Free Home Healthcare Services Bill,2019.( A Bill For a Law to Establish an Agency for free Home Healthcare Services for Elderly and for other related Purposes thereto) Sponsored by the Majority Leader of the House Hon Solomon Akpulonu.
The House which was Presided over by the Speaker Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji dissolved into the committee of the whole and considered H.A.B5: A Bill for a Law to Establish Donor Agencies Trust Fund in Abia State and for other matters connected therewith.
After Consideration and few amendments, the House Passed the Donor Agencies Trust Bill State into Law.
The Bill now(Law) will be cited as the Abia State Donor Agencies Trust Fund and takes effect from the 10th of February 2020.
The House Adjourned Plenary to Tuesday 11th February 2020.
