ABSU: Prof Ikonne assures newly admitted students of conducive learning environment

The Vice Chancellor, Distinguished Professor E. UCHE Ikonne, has assured fresh students of the University of his administration's determination to continue to provide a peaceful and conducive enviroment to help them excel in their academics.

The Vice Chancellor, who was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC) Administration, Professor O. M Ogbulu, gave the assurance during the orientation course for the 2019/2020 first year students of the University.

While congratulating them for their success in gaining admission into ABSU, which is highly subscribed by both Nigerians and International students, enjoined them to take advantage of the quality lecturers and facilities to excel in their various disciplines.

The Vice Chancellor disclosed that their matriculation ceremony is slated for tuesday, 18th February 2020, stating further, that all fresh students are expected to sign their matriculation oath on that day.

The 2019/2020 orientation program also featured lectures in areas like,  The female Undergraduate, University academic regulations, Regulations on fee payment, the use of the library, importance of GST courses, security, students, the hostel, and classroom among others.
