Facebook user debunks miracle claim by Omega power ministry

This narrative by Chris Ijere and the head of Omega power ministry is totally false and nobody should take it serious.

About two years ago,I got a call from Chris Ijere's wife that the husband had gone blind as a result of complications arising from diabetes and they were in a hospital in Ikoyi. After reducing his sugar level the doctor recommended stem cell surgery as the only prospect for him to be able to see again. When they left the hospital I accommodated them in Dover hotel lekki, free of charge.

The problem was how to raise over five million for the surgery, since Chris had no money.A WhatsApp group was set up for that purpose, coordinated by Akanu Obasi, Eleanya Oju and Ina Uba.Thankfully, the money was raised, with a shortfall of less than four hundred thousand.Ina Uba's account received all the money and he transferred to the hospital directly as was the mandate.

Chris and the wife flew to Lagos and a Nigerian doctor based in the US did the procedure and after about five days, Chris regained his sight on one eye.The doctor said he could not regain sight on the other eye, because a surgery done on the eye a few years back was poorly done and the eye was lost.

To reduce cost, since there was no money,Chris was discharged as an outpatient and he stayed in Dover hotel for the next two weeks free.

I have gone to this extent to explain to the world the true state of affairs about this matter. Those who know me, recognise I don't boast of what I do for people.

I just don't want gullible people to be deceived into believing one pastor prayed for Chris and he started seeing without surgery.

He did stem cell surgery to regain his sight, with the prayers of all his friends, including his old school mates in university of Calabar who also contributed 500,000 naira towards the medical procedure.God answered our prayers through those doctors and nurses that were paid accordingly.
Many thanks!
