The Governor sympathized with those who lost property at the market and assured them that the Government stands with them at this difficult moment.
Governor Ikpeazu has earlier sent the Honorable Commissioner for Trade and Investment to visit the market for an on the spot assessment of the situation and report back to him. The idea is to see possible ways through which the State Government can, amongst other measures, work to ensure that incidences such as this do not reoccur in the future.
The Governor assures the Business Community in the State of the avowed commitment of his administration to continue to support the growth of businesses across the state as a deliberate economic development strategy. Part of this strategy is to ensure that markets and other businesses areas are made conducive for businesses to thrive.
