Nigeria international winger, Victor Moses has spoken about sadness at missing the upcoming 2015 Africa Nations Cup (Afcon) qualifying games against Sudan.

The Super Eagles will face the Falcons of Jediane in two games that could potentially decide their fate as far as qualifying for the 2015 Afcon is concerned.

Moses who was originally named in the 23-man-squad made public by Nigeria head coach, Stephen Keshi just over a week ago will however miss both games.

This was after he aggravated a thigh injury while on duty for Barclays English Premier League club, Stoke City against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

The 23-year-old was predictably pained at the timing of the injury and duly took to Twitter to voice his sentiments.

“Thanks for all your messages. I'm disappointed that I am unable to go away on international duty due to injury but am working hard to get back fully fit as soon as possible,” he tweeted via @VictorMoses.

Moses who has represented England at junior level earned his first senior cap for Nigeria in 2012.

He has scored seven times in 22 appearances for the reigning African champions.
