Imo Governor salutes Ikpeazu for prowess in Agriculture

Governor of Imo State, Chief Emeka Ihedioha has saluted the achievements and prowess of his Abia State counterpart, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in agriculture, particularly in oil palm sub-sector.
Governor Ihedioha was speaking at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia during the flag-off of 2019 Farming Season held in Abia State
The Governor, represented by his Deputy, Chief Gerald Ironna said he was happy that Abia Governor is investing much on palm oil plantation added that soon, the State would begin to reap the benefits of the agricultural innovations of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and thanked Abia people for supporting their Governor, Dr Ikpeazu.
He disclosed that his government in Imo was poised to revamp Abia palm which he inherited from the former Governor and grow the economy of Imo State to make the citzens proud.
The Imo State Governor for assured that his government would partner the Bank of Agriculture to improve on the lives of his people.
