Governor Ikpeazu submits nomination form

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, on thursday, submitted his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination form to contest the 2019 Governorship election.
Governor Ikpeazu who submitted the form at the Wadata House Abuja headquarters of the party was accompanied by some of his aides and political leaders of the state including former State Chairman of the party, Chief Ndidi Okereke and Chief Iboko Imo Iboko
The Governor who was received on arrival by the National Organizing Secretary of the party, Colonel Austine Akobundu, rtd, laughed off questions from journalists on the rumors of his joining another party.
“I am at the Secretariat of the PDP to submit my nomination form to contest 2019 election as the sole aspirant and flag-bearer of the party in my state. We will ensure Abia remains a PDP state.
