A former Nigerian Consul General in South Africa and a governorship aspirant in Abia State on the platform of the APC, Okey Emuchay, has said his focus if elected in 2019 will be good governance.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja, Emuchay, whose father was the first medical doctor in the old Eastern Region to establish a cottage hospital in 1961, said his mission in politics “is about service to humanity, serving people, returning the privilege I have had to them; that is my passion. That is what is driving me. That is what I’m bringing.”

While noting that governance was a serious business, the former consul general said he had the needed experience and exposure required for the job.
