OPINION: The Audacity of Change By Onyebuchi Ememanka

Anyone who is very familiar with Aba and her people will agree that they are usually very impatient with leaders who neglect infrastructure in the town.

Indeed, I can't recall any leader taking a walk on the streets of Aba without being pelted with stones and booed endlessly.

Right from the military regimes, Aba people usually gave leaders a piece of their mind.

I still recall one former Military Administrator who was forced by the people of Aba to enter the flooded parts of Faulks Road.
Ariaria International Market used to be a no go area for our political leaders.

But not anymore.

Ikpeazu has changed that narrative and instituted a new paradigm shift of positive change and development.

Today, Ikpeazu went inside Ariaria Market to inspect the ongoing upgrade of internal roads in the market, something that has not been done in the past two decades and a half

It was a mammoth crowd of traders that welcomed him as walked majestically with the swag and confidence occasioned by the positive wind of change blowing through the multi-Billion Naira market.
Such show of open solidarity and gratitude to a Governor inside Ariaria International Market is not common. Ask anyone!

From the Enyimba Station Junction on the expressway into the main market, from Free Zone to Timber line to the Drugs Line, the roads are being fixed.
Ikpeazu assured that this dry season will be used to fix all the internal roads within the market to ensure that buying and selling goes on unimpeded for the development of our state.

He reiterated his promise that flooding in the market has now become history.

You call it the Ikpeazu swag.
We call it the audacity of changeIkpeazu in Ariaria MarketIkpeazu in Ariaria MarketIkpeazu in Ariaria Market
