For 16 years residents of Etitiohazu on Obohia road, off Ngwa Road Aba, could not link up with the residents of the NNENTU end of the road because of a massive heap of refuse that blocked the road. All kinds of plants and trees, including plantain and coconut,  have grown in the middle of the road and the premises of St Peters Anglican church and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic churches along the road were completely cut off.

On Tuesday, 5th of December 2017, the residents had cause to smile and cheer as Governor Okezie Ikpeazu through the state ministry of Agriculture deployed caterpillars and other earth moving equipment to clear the mountain of refuse and allow free flow of human and vehicular traffic along the road.
