Abia Swears in SSG

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has sworn in the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Eme Okoro, with an admonition to give his best in the service of the state. 
In his remarks after the oath of office was administered on the SSG, Governor Ikpeazu reminded him of the challenges ahead of the state including  the need to deliver quickly on the 5 development
pillars of the administration and urged him to leverage on his experience to deliver superior performance.
He advised the SSG to be fair to all Abians in the course of discharging his official duties and expressed confidence that the Dr Okoro has all it takes to function effectively as the engine room of the administration.
Responding, the visibly elated new SSG, Dr Eme Okoro, expressed appreciation to the Governor for his reappointment and assured him of his loyalty to him and the people of Abia State. He pledged to abide by his oath office and work for the success of the administration.
The oath of office was administered by the Solicitor General of the State, Enyinnaya Okezie, with top government officials, family and friends of Dr Okoro witnessing the event held at the Exco Chambers of the Government House Umuahia.
