Ikpeazu Swears in Two new Permanent Secretaries

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu today swore in two new Permanent Secretaries in a bid to strengthen the Abia Civil Service. 
The two new top civil servants are Mrs Nkechinyere Cordelia Nwokoro and Mr. Patrick Irokansi who are both thorough bred professional civil servants who have risen through the ranks in the service before their elevation. 


The oath of office was administered on them by the Solicitor General of the State, Enyinnaya Okezie Esq at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House Umuahia. 


Congratulating the new Permanent Secretaries, Governor Ikpeazu charged them to rise to the occasion and use their long years of experience in the service to help reposition the Abia Civil Service. He told them that their selection was based strictly on the merits of their personal records of excellence and assured that his administration will always reward diligence and hard work. 
Responding on behalf of the new Permanent Secretaries, Mrs. Nkechinyere Nwokoro thanked the Governor for finding them fit and proper for this elevation and assured the Governor of their loyalty and commitment to their oaths of office.


Spouses, colleagues, associates, friends and well wishers of the new appointees graced the occasion which also had in attendance the Member representing Ikwuano and Umuahia at the House of Representatives, Hon Sam Onuigbo, State Head of Service, Dr. Vivian Uma, Permanent Secretaries and top aides of the Governor.
