Governor Ikpeazu approves free medical surgeries

Governor Ikpeazu with Minister of Health

The department of Surgery, Abia State University Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH) Aba, is embarking on a Free month-long major Surgical outreach in the month of April, 2017.

This program is courtesy of the approval by Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, the Governor of Abia State, to assist the poor and indigent members of the State. People with serious health issues requiring surgical intervention are advised to immediately report to the Teaching Hospital for preliminary procedures that will enable them participate in the Free Surgery program.
