BREAKING: Supreme Court reserves judgement on the Uche Ogah appeal against Governor Okezie Ikpeazu

The full panel of the Supreme Court presided by Acting Chief Judge, Justice Onorghen, today reserved judgement for the 12th of May 2017 in the case involving Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.

This followed the conclusion of oral submissions and adoption of briefs by lawyers representing the petitioner, Uche Ogah, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and PDP in the case of false tax information filed by Mr Ogah who lost the 2014 primaries of the PDP. Meanwhile Mr F N Nwosu has withdrawn his appeal at the Supreme Court and was fined N200,000 for wasting the time of the court.
