Abia North pay solidarity visit to Gov Ikpeazu

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has continued to garner the support of people from different zones of the state. This time it was the people of Abia North Zone who staged a solidarity visit to the Governor at the Government House, Umuahia.

Transition Committee Chairman of Arochukwu Local Government Area, Abraham Amah, while reassuring the governor of the total and unflinching support of the people of Abia North, noted that a man who must seek public office must present himself to the people and tell them what he would do for them,and that must also be achieved through the ballot. He said the mandate of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is dully given and a divine mandate and cannot be taken through the back door.

Amah said the governor started on a good note and the ongoing projects especially road reconstruction across the three zones cannot be stalled. He maintained that nothing can upturn the will of God and emphasized that the People of Abia North will stand behind the Governor all through this period and beyond and would confidently vote him in 2019.

Commissioner for Transport, Nnenna Obewu,Speaking on behalf of the women of the zone, said Allogah's judgement is commended by the women, while describing the governor as a man with a heart of gold and reaffirmed the support of the women for him.

Gov. Ikpeazu who expressed confidence to come out of the governorship tussle strong and better, said his mandate is a string of unity for Abia, pillar of equity, twain of Justice and bond of progress.

He said the God of Justice will vindicate Abia, while calling for the continuous support and prayers of the people.

The visit had in attendance, commissioners from the zone,the Deputy Speakers of the Abia State House of Assembly, Cosmas Ndukwe, elder statesmen and stakeholders.
