9,000 Ghost Workers Discovered In Kogi State

Kogi State Chairman of Workers screening committee, Jerry Agbaji has revealed that over 9,000 ghost workers have been discovered in the state.

Agbaji while disclosing this at a stakeholders meeting said majority of the workers stayed away from the screeing exercise in order not to be arrested.

Agaji said forms were issued across the 21 local government areas of the state, but majority of the workers faild to appear, saying that they were considered as immediate ghost workers in the state.

The chairman in his statement said some workers had issued form forged certificates, lack of verification numer (BVN), and lack of statement of bank account.
