Governor Ikpeazu's security rescue robbery victims

Attempt by armed robbers to rob passengers of a night journey luxurious bus at Aba yesterday evening was foiled by armed security agents attached to the convoy of Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.
The incident which happened around 8pm this night started when the convoy of the Governor was returning to Aba from work at Umuahia and noticed a parked luxurious bus with passengers lying on the floor.
As the security team slowed down the convoy which was running without siren, the robbers who apparently thought it was a single patrol vehicle opened fire before the security agents responded with a staccato of gunshots that sent the robbers scampering in all directions leaving their thoroughly scared victims behind.
All the victims have since left the location of the attempted robbery unhurt while the Governor has ordered security agents to go on full manhunt for the robbers and bring them to justice.
