Direct Fuel Supply To Marketers Will End Scarcity; IPMAN

The Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, says the Nigeria National Petroleum Company’s decision to supply petroleum products directly to marketers will help end their scarcity in the country.
The National Operations Controller of IPMAN, Mike Osatuti stated this during the inspection of some filling stations in Ogun State.
He urged the federal government to deregulate the industry now that the price of oil has fallen.
Osatuyi said IPMAN members controlled 84 percent of retail outlets in the country and were dedicated to operate 24 hours to ensure that motorists and commuters had access to petrol.
He noted that it would be of utmost advantage for the government to deregulate the downstream sector of the petroleum industry.
