South East Governors Agree To Meet The President On Igbo Marginalization

The meeting of Igbo leaders, summoned by the South East Governors Forum SEGF ended with a resolution that a delegation of Igbo leaders would meet with President Muhammadu Buhari on the marginalization of Igbo in the country.
The Forum also agreed to dialogue with members of the MASSOB and IPOB, to end the protest, which has occurred in several states of the South-South and South East.

A communiqué read by the Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, at the end of the meeting, stated that a committee will be set up to dialogue with the Federal Government, member of MASSOB and IPOB, with the aim of finding a lasting solution to the problem.
