The War On Corruption Still On; Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has reiterated his administration’s commitment to fighting corruption, which he described as a ‘fight for the soul and substance of the nation, a moral battle for virtue and righteousness in the land”.
 
Speaking through the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo at a plenary session of Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, in Port Harcourt, the president noted that looting of public funds; corruption is the major reason for poor policy choices, poverty prevalence and waste of the nation’s resources.
On Security, the President said Boko Haram will be routed out militarily adding that with vigilance and good local intelligence, the insurgents will be a thing of the past.
He said enabling environment must be created for free enterprise, plan and budget with understanding to revive the nation’s economy
