While addressing press men yesterday, Friday June 27, 2014, the Honourable Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu who made a visit to the victims of Emab plaza bomb blast currently receiving treatment at the Maitama, Wuse, Asokoro District Hospitals and the National Hospital Abuja confirmed that twenty of the 24 victims rushed to the hospitals died on the way while four died shortly after arriving the hospital. He noted that 27 out of the fifty two others injured are currently receiving medical treatment in various hospitals while others have been discharged.
Prof. Chukwu regreted that people died at the site of the blast and noted that every victim that made it to the hospitals alive were and are currently being care of with utmost care. He however, condemned in strong term the cruel acts of the boko haram sect.
