When Idiocy weds Ignorance....

Sometimes I wonder the extent some people can go to display their abject ignorance and/or foolishness. Is there no limit to open display of ignorance and foolishness?

Nigerian security forces arrest someone or some people on suspicions of terrorism at a Federal inter-state highway and individuals and even groups issue statements purporting to warn Igbo and Igbo governors against arresting their people or people from a particular ethnic group.

Is that not the height of idiocy and ignorance joined in an unholy wedlock?

1. Is the Nigerian Army now an Igbo army?
2. Is the Chief of Army Staff Igbo?
3. Is the Chief of Defense Staff Igbo?
4. Is the NSA Igbo?
5. Is the IGP Igbo?
5. Do Igbo governors control the Army?
6. Is a federal highway now under the control of Igbo governors?
7. Should the suspected terrorists have been allowed to get to Rivers State before arrest just to satisfy idiots?
8. Have we stopped running a federal constitution in Nigeria?
9. Is this the first time Nigerian security services are arresting suspects outside their place of birth?
10. Are these children of rage aware that Lt.Col Bukar Suka Dimka who killed Murtala Muhammed was actually arrested at a hotel in Afikpo of present day Ebonyi State?
11. Is the commander of the battalion that arrested the terrorists Igbo?
12. Are the soldiers all Igbo?
13. Is the Commisioner of police in Imo state that announced the 6 suspected bombers of Winners Church Owerri Igbo?

The level of ignorance and outright mischief I am observing is nauseous. To even think that persons with Igbo names are engaged in this outright idiocy makes it all the more annoying. If you must please your pay masters or wants to curry favor from them, do not do so at the expense of Igbo lives and national unity. Otherwise you will answer like those before you because people are reading and taking notes.

It beats me how a grown up man will be pointing at his fathers house with his left hand and people will clap for him. Some of these misguided fellows are even feeding their terrorists friends the lies that the 487 suspects were arrested at Aba. Whereas the arrest was actually effected by an Army Battalion at a location that is 5 minutes drive from Rivers state and about 20 minutes away from Aba junction of the Enugu-PH Federal Highway. The suspects also reportedly claimed they were traveling to PH for whatever reason or purpose. Ordinarily, the govt in Rivers State should be grateful to the soldiers who made the intervention.

Nigerians should filter what they read carefully and disregard information from these agents of satan who are working hard to stoke inter-religious and inter-ethnic violence to achieve anarchy or military take over. They have even been working hard to demoralize and divide our men in uniform without success and now they want to provoke ethnic distrust and conflict.

God pass dem sha.

A suspect is different from a convict. If the security forces have any reason to suspect anyone or group of persons they are bound by their constitutional oath and right to arrest the person and demand answers. It doesn't even matter if the men making the arrest are from any particular tribe or religion. Let them do their work unfettered. If the suspects have no case to answer they should and would be released in due course. Even in the so called civilized West, security forces arrest suspects and process them into or out of detention.

Nke anyi oga apuzi iche????

Help the security forces to stem this evil that has visited our land. The life you are saving might just be yours because bombs do not know tribe, tongues or party affiliation.

May the spirit of "Obiara egbum gbuo onwe ya" pursue and overtake those who want bloodshed and anarchy in Nigeria. If you agree say "iseeeeee"
