Death Toll Rises After China Warehouse Blast

At least 44 people have been confirmed dead, including fire fighters and 400 injured after a Chinese warehouse exploded in the North Eastern Port city of Tianjin in China.
 
Chinese state news said the blast started on Wednesday night after a container of hazardous material exploded in the warehouse.
 
The news agency reported that at least 44 people had died and 32 of the injured were in critical condition in hospitals.
 
At least 36 fire fighters were reportedly missing.
 
The blast knocked doors off buildings in the area and shattered windows several kilometers away.
 
However, there were no indication of what caused the blast, and no immediate sign of large release of toxic chemicals into the air, though there were observation of some unidentified yellow foam flowing in the site.
