PDP expels Jigawa State Deputy Governor

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has expelled the deputy governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Ahmed Mahmoud. The announcement of Mahmoud's expel from the PDP was made at an emergency meeting of stakeholders held at  Galagamma ward in Gumel Local Government Area of the state.
Mahmoud was said to have been expelled following anti party activities at the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

Alhaji Ibrahim Dogo Kafinta, Chairman of PDP in Gumel Local Government said the second person of the state was expelled following betrayal of trust by voting the opposition APC at the March 28 elections which he described as anti party.

The deputy governor, who is a second time deputy is said to receive his APC membership card today.
