Arsenal's excellent run continues. Seven wins in a row now and 10 in their last 11. They are now into second place and just four points behind Chelsea, who do have two games in hand. With Chelsea still to come to the Emirates, maybe the title is still a possibility.
For Liverpool, they fall further off the pace. Nine points they trail Arsenal by now and they could be eight behind fourth-placed Manchester United by the end of play today. They may also bee down in seventh behind Tottenham and Southampton as well.
