Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has attacked President Goodluck Jonathan again, saying that the nations democracy is at risk owing to the actions of President Jonathan's administration.
Obasanjo who spoke during a book launch in honour of the pioneer chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission,Mustapha Akanbi in Abuja, accused the presidency of insigating verbal violence which he said may not physically hurt but its degenerating into physical violence.

The former President who noted that the greatest indictment against any administration is to be seen as trying tp destroy opposition of all sorts which invariably means destroying democracy, said 'management of democracy without resorting to brute force and dictatorial tendencies must be cultivated".
Obasanjo who maintained that the increasing Boko Haram insurgency is linked to President Jonathan's initial wrong reading of the menace, also touched the issues of youth unemployment, corruption and the economy.

On the economy,he said the economy is in doldrums,if not in reverse. Adding that Nigeria will continue to sink deeper, because what Nigerians are told about the economy is not what it is.
Obasanjo's attack on the President is coming seven days after he rated his administration as below average.
