Prof Ikonne Assures Anambra Indigenes Living In Abia Of Security, Boost In Trade And Commerce

Prof. Uche Ikonne has assured Anambra indigenes living in Abia state that his government when elected will facilitate the T in TIGER ECONOMY by making necessary critical investments that will boost trade and commerce in the state, the Abia PDP Governorship candidate for the 2023 governorship election gave these assurances when he joined indigenes of Anambra state living in Aba to celebrate their 2022 cultural day.

 

Prof Ikonne, represented at the event by his running mate Barr. Okey Philips Igwe said Anambra and Abia have a history of mutual relationship and that the incoming Ikonne administration will further solidify the relationship by creating a conducive environment for businesses and residents to prosper.

 

He said, his administration will ensure the creation of more access roads in and out of Aba including PH road to ensure the free flow of interstate trade/commerce. 

 

He felicitated them on the occasion of their cultural day and reminded them of the rich cultural heritage of Anambra as the ancestral home of Ndi Igbo while thanking them for being at the forefront of entrepreneurship, commerce, and industry, especially in Aba and promised that with the action plan being put together by the incoming Ikonne administration and the infrastructural buildup and SME development being experienced under the present PDP government of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu the glory days of Aba as the industrial melting pot of trade and commerce in west Africa will be returned.  

 

in the area of security, Prof. Ikonne told them that Abia remains the safest state in the whole of the southeast and that his administration will further improve on the good and effective security system currently in place to ensure that their lives, properties, and businesses are protected, he reminded them that the PDP is not in competition with the pretenders and phonies interloping around as gubernatorial candidates because Abia is PDP, he told them that with the choice of their inlaw and next door neighbour from Isuochi as his Deputy that they are already part of his government and their interest will be maximally protected and urged them to join the moving train and vote massively for the Ikonne/Igwe ticket. 

 

The event which was held on Saturday at the premises of the Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, had in attendance the Director General Barr. Chinedum Elechi and members of Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organization.
