The General manager, Traffic and Indiscipline management Agency of Abia State, Ikeokwu Chinedu Bright, has threatened to uncover those behind a malicious story against him.

Ikeokwu, according to a report, was alleged to have said there was no 3-man delegate election. He has debunked the story in a Press statement sighted by Factnewsonline on Friday.

The statement reads:

RE: Abia PDP Crisis: 3-Man Delegates Election Did Not Hold in Abia - TIMAAS Boss, Ikeokwu

"My attention has been drawn to a malicious story on Nairaland and Vanguard, where it was alleged that I said "3-Man Delegates Election Did Not Hold in Abia".

"It is utterly shameful seeing how Vanguard constantly throws journalism in the mud to satisfy the interest of politicians. What happened to professional journalism anchored on truth?

"I am not contesting any election, I am not a Party executive nor a delegate. My interest is in delivering on the task assigned to me by my boss, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, as TIMAAS GM.

"At no point did I host a group of persons in my home to discuss delegate elections. The purported meeting is only but a figment of the imagination of Vanguard and the propagandist.

"The general public should kindly disregard any such stories and the promoters. Those who are bent on destroying my relationship with my boss, the Governor, should understand that their plans failed on arrival.

"Governor Ikpeazu is my leader and boss. He will always have my support and loyalty.

"I am certainly not letting this slide. Those behind this falsehood will be uncovered. Security agents have been put on alert and have commenced investigation."
