Frontline governorship aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) has felicitated with Abia Workers as they celebrate the International Worker’s Day 2022.

In his Labour Day message to the Abia Workers issued in Umuahia the Abia State capital on Sunday May 1st, 2022, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe popularly known as Don Lulu by his teeming supporters, urged the Abia workers to be patient and keep hope alive as he unveils his action plan for the Abia Public Service.

The Abia governorship hopeful, who is also the founder of Don Lulu Foundation, admonished the workers to remain resolute because freedom is at their door-steps and new things coming their way soon. He thanked the workers for their resilience and commitment to duty despite the prevailing economic environment today.

Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, who described the Abia workers as one of the enterprising workforces in the country, praised them for their sacrifices in ensuring that the Abia civil service lives up to expectations because their service delivery and activities are essential in the development of the society.

Said the PDP governorship contender, “I celebrate all the Abia workers today who are champions of good governance. The Abia workers I know are always active, diligent and industrious, and I acknowledge your role in nation building and governance. 

“I want to assure you today that if you elect me your governor in 2023, I will not only run an all-inclusive government, but will equally make workers welfare my priority, Mayor Igbokwe adds.

In conclusion the Abia business man cum politician in the message stated that “he’s sending you good wishes on this Workers Day and may the labour of your hands be blessed commensurately. Keep hope alive as the best is yet to come”.
