Abia Speaker Advises Newly-weds Against Entertaining Third Parties in their Union

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji earlier today attended the wedding reception of Mr & Mrs Okezie Obasi.

Speaking at the reception held at the Women Development Centre, Ogurube Layout, Umuahia, the Speaker advised the couple to build their new home on the foundation of trust, respect and humility. 

"Marrige is a beautiful and reverend institution when the two people involved understand the principles of living together; don't involve third parties in your affairs. Reconcile your differences privately and always be ready to forgive each other", he counselled. 

The Speaker prayed for the couple and wished them a fruitful, eventful and productive marriage. 

The marriage was earlier solemnised at Church of the Good Shepherd, Ehimiri, Umuahia Anglican Diocese.

Hon Kelechi Onuzuruike, Member representing Umuahia North State Constituency, Hon Stanley Nwabuisi, Member representing Ikwuano State Constituency, Dr JohnPedro Irokansi, Clerk and Permanent Secretary of Abia State House of Assembly, Mr Ugochukwu Emezue, Commissioner for Documentation and Strategic Communications and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
