Abia Speaker Condoles with Late Uche Mpamah's Family

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji earlier today attended the funeral service of Late Chief Uche Francis Mpamah, a former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Abia State, at Obuohia Community School Field, Ikwuano LGA.

While delivering his condolence message to the family, the Speaker described the deceased as a man of many positive attributes who gave his all in every role or position he found himself.

He further described Late Uche Mpama as a reliable friend and ally who was fully committed to the PDP in the State.

"His death at this time when his guidance is needed most in the State is indeed painful but we can't question our Creator; I therefore pray that God accepts his gentle soul in his bosom and grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss," the Speaker concluded.

On his part, the Senator representing Abia Central at the National Assembly, Chief Theodore Ahamefule Orji CON who came in company of his wife, Lady Odochi Mercy Orji, also described the deceased as his dependable and trusted ally who worked significantly for his political victories. 

He consoled the bereaved family especially his children and prayed that God give them the fortitude to bear the huge loss.

Hon Stanley Nwabuisi, Member representing Ikwuano State Constituency, Col. Augustine Akobundu (Rtd), National Organising Secretary of the People's Democratic Party, Executive Chairmen of Local Government Areas, Traditional Rulers, Clergymen and top government functionaries attended the funeral service. 

Recall that the Speaker had on the 25th of September, 2021, paid the bereaved family a condolence visit in their Umuahia residence.
