Ahaba-Imenyi Clan Commends Gov. Ikpeazu, Seeks Inclusion

The people of Ahaba-Imenyi in Isuikwuato Local Government Area (LGA) of Abia State have commended the Abia Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for his untiring efforts in the development of state.

In a communique jointly signed by Hon. Okorie Ezikpe, Hon. Chima Otunta, Hon. Okigbo Ugwa and Hon. Joseph Odumuko among others, and made available to our reporter, they noted that Gov. Ikpeazu's concerted efforts in tackling insecurity, provision of road infrastructures and robust Executive-Legislative synergy has greatly improved the fortune of Abians.

The Ahaba-Imenyi stakeholders who also commended Abia Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu and the Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji for living up to their billings, appealed to Gov. Ikpeazu to include Ahaba-Imenyi people while constituting the next State Executive Council.

They further disclosed that Ahaba-Imenyi which boasts of several bulk votes and great pool of qualified men and women has remained loyal/supportive PDP administration since 1999 but are yet to be considered in the State Executive Council.

They urged Gov. Ikpeazu to consider their people for such honour, maintaining that it would go a long way to boost the confidence of Ahaba-Imenyi clan in deepening democracy in the area.

They also called on all Abians especially, Ahaba-Imenyi people to take advantage of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to vote massively for PDP again come 2023.

Ahaba-Imenyi people pledged their unalloyed support/loyalty to Gov. Ikpeazu, adding that they would spare nothing at their disposal towards ensuring that PDP emerged victorious at all levels come 2023 general elections.
