Nutricima unveils new products for consumers

Nutricima on Wednesday, at the Civic Center unveiled two new variants of Olympic Powdered Milk and ready-to-drink Olympic Apple Flavoured bottled drink. They were to be under the Olympic milk brand of products that will join the popular Olympic Evaporated Milk which has been in the market for years now.
The Managing Director of the company, Suneel Vasudevan at the unveiling of the products said the new products was aimed at empowering consumers in Nigeria and across West Africa with healthy choices in milk. This is coming on heels of market insights which show that Olympic milk as an evaporated milk-brand leads the economy segment of that market.
He stated that the company has strengthened the brand as an added value beverage of nutritional needs for Nigerians. According to him, “We have now strengthened the brand as an added value beverage that consumers can access in various formats. We have increased the range of Olympic Milk offering to Nigerians . Olympic now comes in single serve 16g powder and family pack 300g powder, in a 500ml bottle ready to drink pack and in a new REM evaporated 150g pack”
Vasudevan however used the opportunity to unveil Peter Okoye of Psquare as the brand ambassador saying the Olympic milk brands, stating: “we commence today, collaboration with one of Africa’s most talented artistes, Mr. Peter Okoye of P-Square. Fans of the energetic artiste with outstanding proficiency in his craft are excited at this alliance. We selected Peter Okoye for his strength, energetic routine and good looks, attributes shared by the rebranded Olympic milk.”
Adding Vasudevan’s statement was the Head of Marketing of Nutricima, Wande Oluwasegunfunmi, who stated that the new products under the Olympic milk portfolio have been improved to give the teeming consumers the highest level of value they could get for their money, adding that, the 500ml ready to drink apple flavoured drink is made from the best quality European apples and is highly refreshing.
