The Aba City football competition for traders popularly called Aba Traders' Cup Football Competition will kick off on the 13th October, 2014. The venue for this competition will be the Sports' arena of The Abia State Polythechnic in Aba. The competition would run for about Ten days. It is believed that traders from Ariaria International Market, Cemetery Market, Ngwa Road Market, Port Harcourt Road Market, Ala Oji Auto parts Market , Saint Michael Road Market, Shopping Complex Market etc, would be involved in this competition.
Fact News Sports correspondent, Charles Oleka, went to town to highlight the need for such Grass root competition.Fact News is of the believe that this competition will, in no small measure, encourage healthy competitive rivalry between the various Market Association in Aba City of Abia State.
